- Im a parent and i would like to attend the camp. Do you have any information regarding non athletes attending camp.

As a parent you may take part of our package deal. We can offer you accomodation and food for 500 SEK. It is important for us that your child feels secure at camp and we strongly recommend that you chaperone your child if they have never been away from home alone before - camp can be overwhelming for the little ones!

- Do I have to have a stunt group to be able to sign up for camp?

We strongly recommend that you sign up as stunt groups or teams to make your stay at Cheer Summer Camp as good as possible. Sometimes individuals that come to camp find it hard to get into a stunt group that´s accurate to their skill level. So if you decide to sign up individually you need to be prepared for alterning places in stunt groups and take the risk of not being able to fully stunt at your level.

- How will you organize the camp teams?

During the camp  we will organize  all the  athletes into camp teams, each team who will work together during the camp, a great way to meet new people and make friends. We will NOT place you into teams before camp stars this year - this will happen during our first stunt session on the opening day!

- Do I have to have certain skills to be able to come to camp?

We accept all levels at Cheer Summer Camp - this year we have added "first time" as another skill level if you are brand new to the sport. We use "Beginner" "Intermediate" and "Advanced" to divide the campers into different skill levels.

- What do you mean with the different skill levels "First time", "Beginner", "Intermediate" and "Advanced"?

Here is basically what we mean with the different levels:

Tumbling: you need to master following skills safely without a spotter to be able to attend these levels

Beginnerbasic tumbling skills

Intermediate: standing back hand spring, r o back hand spring

Advanced: standing back tuck, r o back tuck

Stunts/pyramids: you need to master following skills safely without a spotter to be able to attend these levels:

Beginnerthigh stand, prep, prep level libertly

Intermediate: prep cradle, extended liberty, basket toss straight ride

Advanced: full down from liberty, tricks in basket toss, tic-toc, full up, advanced pyramids (lvl5 OR 6)

If you do not yet have any of these skills you will attend "First time"

- Who will be my instructor at camp?

Our goal is to have eveyone meet all instructors at least once during camp. Your camp team will get one or two buddy instructors that are "your" special coaches thoughout these hours where you work together with your team.

- How do you choose your instructors?

We carefully choose what instructors that will be invited to come to Cheer Summer Camp and let the ones that we are satisfied with come back to us. The most important thing for us when we choose instructors are their ability to coach and instruct all skill levels. It is also important that our instructors have great personalities and can inspire you to work hard! We carefully review your feedback too keep you satisfied with who we are bringing to camp.

- I am interested in working at Cheer Summer Camp - what should I do?

We are constantly looking for new staff that can work both on and off the floor. Maybe you are a very talented coach and want to be a part of our "Junior staff"? Maybe you have medical skills and can help out during camp`Maybe you are a terrific parent that can help us out with taking care of after hour activities? We are open to all kids of suggestions!
